Always compact and airy cakes with the classic table margarine

Zvijezda classic margarine with lower fat content is ideal for baking a wide range of cakes and cookies. For always tasty, compact and airy bundt cakes, gingerbread, muffins or quiches, choose Zvijezda classic margarine. To have the best final product, rest the classic margarine at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before you start preparing your dish and it will blend with all the other ingredients perfectly.

Widely used margarine ingredients

Only a few ingredients are used in the manufacture of margarine, with the major ones being oil, water, and an emulsifier used to achieve the stability of the product. The most commonly used emulsifiers are natural ones, organically found in all oils and fats. Margarines also contain salt, natural preservatives, citric acid – serving to regulate acidity and as a natural antioxidant – and beta carotene (actually provitamin A), used as colouring.
