A combination of olives and pepper for an even better taste

A pepper paste is added to the ripe olives in place of pits, which softens the bitter taste of the fruit and conquers it with freshness. Their rich aroma and specific flavour make Zvijezda green olives with pepper an excellent addition to salads, prepared meals – especially those from Mediterranean cuisine – and people often consume them as a quick snack on their own. They go well with quality, hard cheeses, we put them in sandwiches, and also use them to prepare sauces when we want to elevate the taste of the Mediterranean and enrich the dish with varied colours.

Olives in nutrition and production

Most of the olives in Croatia are used for the production of oil, while a smaller number is preserved for individual consumption. Zvijezda selects only whole and completely healthy, firm and developed olives before the stage of full ripening for preservation, which are approximately equal in size and uniform in appearance.
