Pitted olives with the full flavour of the Mediterranean

Tasty, whole and intense, Zvijezda pitted green olives have an acidic flavour and a spicy aroma, and they have a light to green colour. In addition to being easier and faster to consume, you can easily fill Zvijezda pitted green olives with pasta or other products of your choice, such as spices, vegetables, fruit, nuts, cheese or salt-cured fish. The rich flavour of these olives makes them suitable as a snack on their own, but they are also great as an addition to various salads, sauces and prepared dishes, especially in Mediterranean cuisine.

Wealth of history

According to the official classification, olives are fruits. Although more than 40 species can be found around the world, with a portion of them derived from Europe, including the Adriatic, only one species is usually grown. The oldest olive tree in Croatia is located in the Brijuni National Park and is estimated to be about 1,600 years old.
